Objective

This SOP outlines the steps for entering data into the Non-Destructive Hazardous Materials Register form using the EnviroAutomate app.

Key Steps

1. Open Envira Automate App 0:13

  • Launch the EnviroAutomate app on your device.

  • Navigate to your inbox to find pre-determined forms. It is important to use the forms that have been dispatched to you so that prepopulated site-specific data is captured (i.e. address).

2. Select the Appropriate Form 0:27

  • Use the forms dispatched to you via your PM, which will have site address and relevant details embedded.

  • If no forms are available, please contact your project manager and request the nesecssary form is dispatched to you. Alternatively, you can login to the EnviroAutomate online user interface (https://au.enviroautomate.tech) and dispatch the form.

  • IMPORTANT: It is recommended that field personnel sync the EA app and check for the correct forms in their 'inbox' prior to the commencement of mobilisation to site.

3. Fill Out Page 1 - Assessment Details 0:45

  • Enter the date (default is today's date).

  • Input the number of structure levels:

    • Above ground structure: Enter the number of levels (1 for ground level, 2 for ground + first story, etc).

    • Below ground levels: Enter if applicable (default is 0).

  • Select the type of building (e.g., residential dwelling).

  • Enter the approximate year of construction in the free text field.

4. Navigate to Page 2 - Sample Register 2:07

  • Click the 'Next' button at the bottom right of screen to proceed to page 2.

5. Page 2 - HAZMAT Sample Register: Add Sample Items 2:21

  • For each sample:

    • The ID field is automated.

    • Select the area and levels where the hazmat item occurs.

    • Enter the location in the free text field (use voice-to-text for efficiency).

6. Select Hazmat Type and Products 3:20

  • Choose the hazmat type (e.g., Fibre Cement Products).

  • Select the specific product from the list that appears.

7. Complete Sample Details 4:05

  • Enter sample ID based on company nomenclature.

  • Select sample status (e.g., Laboratory Data).

  • Fill in friability, disturbance potential, and quantity (include units).

8. Risk Assessment and Comments 5:20

  • If laboratory data is required, select 'laboratory data required'.

  • Add comments if necessary (can be left blank or filled in using voice-to-text).

9. Add Photos and Recommendations 5:58

  • Take a photo of the item.

  • Select recommendations from the pre-selected list or indicate if laboratory data is required.

10. Add Additional Samples 6:24

  • Click the green 'Add' button to add more samples.

  • For subsequent items, the 'Add' button will be at the bottom right.

11. Navigate Using Index Feature 7:59

  • Use the index feature to quickly navigate between samples. The index button is found at the bottom of your screen to the left of the green submit button.

12. Submit the Form 9:50

  • Click 'Submit' to finalize the form.

  • Address any validation errors indicated by the system.

13. Enter Required Data or Delete Unwanted Samples 9:29

  • To delete a sample, hold the red rubbish bin icon for one second.

14. Sync Data 10:49

  • Ensure your data is synced with the database after submission.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure all required fields are completed before submitting the form.

  • Double-check for any validation errors that may prevent submission.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use voice-to-text for entering location and comments to save time.

  • Familiarize yourself with the index feature for quick navigation between samples.
