Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to export existing site data, add new sites, and import them back into the system in bulk.

Key Steps
Step 1: Access the Sites Section 0:00
Open the Enviro Automate application.
On the left-hand taskbar, click on Sites.
Step 2: Access the Actions Menu 0:12
At the top right of the Sites page, locate and click on the Actions button.
Step 3: Export Existing Sites 0:22
From the Actions menu, select Export Sites.
An excel file will download. Open the file displaying your existing site data. Sheet 1 and sheet 2 of the file provide instructions and reference data for adding new sites. New sites are added to sheet 3 - Data.
Step 4: Prepare New Site Data 0:30
Follow the instructions in the exported file to add new sites (you can complete the required fields only).
Ensure to include the following details for each new site:
Name
Site code
Client name
Tenant office
Site Type
Site address
Description (not required but strongly recommended, e.g. Casula Service Station)
Applicable site use (not required but recommended for bulk setup)
Surrounding land use (not required but recommended for bulk setup)
Note: Additional attributes for your sites are optional and easily can be set later.
Step 5: Import New Sites 1:40
Once your new sites are prepared, return to the Actions menu.
Select Import Sites.
Load the updated file containing your new site data.
Step 6: Verify New Sites 1:54
After importing, verify that the new sites (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) have been created successfully in the system.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that all required fields are filled out correctly to avoid import errors. A red error box will appear in the system if you have not followed the correct format or there is an error in the file (e.g a duplicate project number).
Tips for Efficiency
Use a template for the site data to streamline the process for bulk future imports.
To easily add reference data for geology, acid sulphate soils and planning information click the 'Fetch Reference Data' button in the Site/Edit page for each site following the successful import of new sites in bulk.
