Key Steps
Step 1: Prepare Your Project 0:15
Ensure that you have already entered your site into EnviroAutomate.
Assign a project to that site.
Create a fieldwork task for the project.
Step 2: Access the Fieldwork Task 0:39
Click on your fieldwork task to open the fieldwork task window.
Step 3: Review Field Data 1:05
Navigate to the 'Field Data' tab.
Check the submitted field information, including:
COPCs (Contaminants of Potential Concern)
Location of the site
Sample IDs to ensure they match with the laboratory's records.
Step 4: Open the Laboratory Tab 1:38
Click on the 'Laboratory' tab to prepare for data upload.
Step 5: Add Data File Set 1:50
Click on the grey 'Add Data File Set' button located at the top right corner.
Step 6: Upload Laboratory Data Files 2:05
Fill in the required fields with the appropriate laboratory analytical data files:
Upload the Chain of Custody (COC) PDF file in the top field.
Upload the Sample Receipt PDF file in the next field.
Leave the Sample Summary PDF field empty if not provided.
Upload the Laboratory Certificate of Analysis file.
Upload any available Laboratory QAQC files.
Step 7: Upload CSV Files 3:06
Upload the CSV file for sample data (.sample2e.csv) and chemistry data (.chemistry2e.csv), ensuring it corresponds to the correct lab batch.
If applicable, upload chemistry data and any secondary laboratory batch information.
Step 8: Save Your Data 3:45
You can add as many data file sets as you need. Each set can have primary and secondary or just primary.
Once all files are uploaded, click 'Save' to process the data.
Step 9: Confirm Successful Processing 3:59
Wait for the processing wheel to turn.
Look for a confirmation message indicating that EnviroAutomate has successfully processed your samples with laboratory data.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure all uploaded files are relevant and correspond to the same lab batch to avoid data discrepancies.
Double-check sample IDs against laboratory records before uploading to prevent errors.
Tips for Efficiency
Prepare all necessary files in advance to streamline the upload process.
Use consistent naming conventions for files to easily identify them during upload.
Regularly check for updates or changes in the data upload process to stay informed.
