About the EnviroAutomate app
The EnviroAutomate app is the mobile app your field technicians use to receive dispatched fieldwork tasks, fill out the relevant form on site (e.g. Groundwater Monitoring Event, Soil Classification, LFG Bore Monitoring), and submit the completed form back to EnviroAutomate.
The app is delivered through FastField Mobile Forms, a third-party forms platform. You install the FastField app from the App Store or Play Store, sign in once with the credentials provided by your tenant administrator, and the app then receives the EnviroAutomate forms dispatched to you.
Step 1. Install the app
iPhone / iPad: open the App Store, search for FastField Mobile Forms, and install.
Android phone / tablet: open the Play Store, search for FastField Mobile Forms, and install.
The app is free to install. You only sign in once.
Step 2. Get your sign-in details
Your tenant administrator sets up your FastField user account and gives you:
A Company ID (your organisation’s FastField company identifier)
A Username
A Password
If you do not have these, ask your tenant administrator before continuing.
Step 3. Sign in for the first time
Open the FastField app.
Enter the Company ID.
Enter your Username and Password.
Tap Sign In.
The app remembers your sign-in, so you do not need to enter your details again on the same device.
Step 4. Confirm you’re ready
Once signed in, you should see the FastField inbox. Any fieldwork tasks already dispatched to you will appear here. If nothing has been dispatched yet, the inbox will be empty - that’s normal.
Pull down on the inbox to refresh and pull through any new dispatched tasks.
Tips
Sign in once at the office (where you have a strong wifi connection) before going on site - this avoids fighting with mobile signal in the field.
Make sure notifications are enabled for the FastField app so you’re alerted when a new task is dispatched to you.
If you change devices, your tenant administrator does not need to do anything - just install the app on the new device and sign in with the same details.
If your sign-in stops working, ask your tenant administrator to check or reset your account.
