Objective

This article covers the Related Records tab on the Edit Project page in EnviroAutomate. The tab gives you a single searchable list of everything linked to the project so you can jump straight to any record without going back to its own list page first.

What This Tab Shows

The Related Records tab displays a unified table of all records linked to this project. Four record types appear together:

  • Fieldwork Task - fieldwork tasks created under this project.

  • Client Report - client reports created under this project.

  • Action Item - action items linked to this project.

  • Site - sites attached to this project.

Each row shows:

  • Name - the record's name.

  • Type - one of Fieldwork Task, Client Report, Action Item, or Site.

  • Client - the client this record belongs to (for action items without a client this shows "N/A").

  • Site - the site this record belongs to (for sites this is the site itself; for action items without a site this shows "N/A").

  • Updated At - the last update timestamp in your time zone.

The table is sorted by Updated At in descending order by default, so the most recently changed records appear first.

Key Features

  • Search - use the search field to filter by Name, Description, Type, Client, or Site.

  • Sort - click any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse direction.

  • Filter by Record Type - the Record Type filter at the top lets you narrow the list to a single type (Fieldwork Task, Client Report, Action Item, or Site).

  • View row action - each row has a View button (eye icon) on the right. Click it to open the record's own edit page in a new view.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use this tab to get a quick overview of all fieldwork tasks, client reports, action items, and sites associated with the project in one list.

  • Use the Record Type filter when you want to focus on just one kind of record.

  • Use the search field to quickly locate a specific record by name.

  • Click the View button on any row to jump straight to the record's edit page.
